I never expected a sequel after all this time, but I was so glad when I saw this one. The story is fast paced and exciting, and while it could be read as a standalone, A Tide Too High is such a great read, I’d advise reading that first so you have the backstory fresh in your mind. Totally recommended.

Another great book Carole twists and turns and never dull. Great read to finish the sequel.
After many people pestering Ms Brungar for a follow up to a Tide Too High, here it is! There’s plenty of relationship building, some turbulent moments, and some scary moments that will keep you reading to the end. Loved this book.

So pleased to read the sequel to Mac and Alec’s unique love story. A relatable story with roots in rural New Zealand. Just goes to show that it is the simplest pleasures in life that count the most.
